You can circumnavigate the island for discovering the natural caves and the small bays all around the isle and, if You wish, You can swim in the famous Blue Grotto. A stop cannot be missed by the Faraglioni , three big rocks which are the symbol of the island, where You can swim in turquoise waters.
In addition You can get off to the port of Capri and take the funicular railway to reach the famous Piazzetta, the main Square. And don't miss the Gardens of Augustus with its luxuriant vegetation and its panoramic view of the landscape of Capri. Great beauty of this island is that it offers the presence of flowers , cacti and flora in general. But everything in Capri is worth a visit: the Cartheusian monastery, the very lovely seascape with the needles in the background, the Natural Arch and Axel Munthe's San Michele Villa at Anacapri. In the same village a chair-lift leaves the small square directed to Mount Solaro, from which one can admire the entire Gulf of Naples.
Capri was the holiday-place of the emperor Tiberius, who had the Jovis Villa built there; its ruins still exist today.
